You are stepping up from P rated tires to LT rated tiresunless you have a real legitimate need for 10 ply get the smoother riding 8s. My 8 ply 29575R16 BFGs did not wear well at all and I am now running a 10 ply toyo that wears much better. The 10ply will not heat up as easily as the 8 ply.

Its likely you will get more use out of a 10 ply you will also get higher load capacity rougher ride less gas milage more upfront cost. I would make your choice based on how you will use the truck.
