Kiln dried treated wood wont shrink like regular pressure treated and typically will hold a lag screw better. For bunks shrinkage might not be a problem. Pressure treated wood eats aluminum so if an aluminum trailer or aluminum brackets for the bunks are used its an issue.
Pressure treated wood is usually very wet and trapping that wet under carpet get pretty slimy. If you want to glue your carpet on good luck. Trex is not strong enough for the length of most bunks.
If you have flat bunks not ones that need to taper the curve of the bottom of a hull Id use IRON WOOD. Its a hardwood from the tropics so its very resistant to water damage. I used it on the rear bunks of my prior 25 Shockwave Tremor.
It is excellent lumber. If you want to go treated you may have to go to an old time lumber yard and try to get 2 Struct or 1 Struct pressure treated. Each piece will be grade stamped before it was treated so look for it.
