The tires on the trailer seem to the right size and load range but both are compleatly worn out on the inside after only about 350 miles. If you have not been carrying heavy loads check to see if the axle has been flipped.
If the trailer tires are dead flat on the ground without weight on the trailer then once loaded there will be excessive force on the inside edges of the tires which could result in the uneven wear you see.
Boat trailer tires wearing on inside. My boat and out board motor weight about 1400 LBS. The tires on the trailer seem to the right size and load range but both are compleatly worn out on the inside after only about 350 miles. The ware pattern are the same on both tires and looking at the wheels from back of the trailer I can see they are leaning in at the top and out at the bottom.
But now I notice that the trailer tires are both worn on the inside tread only and very badly for the outside area looks as new. The axle and spindles are straight no bended in any way I have to mention when trailer is loaded tires look tilted to inside hwn unloaded its looks fine. Tire wear on the inside usually indicates that the trailer is overloaded but you would see it on by sides not just one.
That makes me think that the spindle on the affect side is angled slightly up when it. There are a couple of things that can lead to the tires wearing on the inside only. Basically what is happening is the top of the tire is leaning in towards the trailer causing most of the weight to ride on the inside.
This pretty much means the axle is bent especially if both sides have the same problem. Wear due to under-inflation. If youre lacking in tire pressure on your trailer tires its going to show via wear on the inside and outside edges of the tire.
The center of your tire tread will remain in good condition but will be marred on both sides by wear that can easily be corrected with a little extra PSI to bring your tires back up to their ideal pressure level. This is my 5th season with the boat and trailer purchased new in 2013. I dont put a lot of miles on because my fishing locations are pretty close but I happened to notice that the first 1 to 15 of the inside part of the tread on each tire is wearing kind of strangely.

The tires should NOT be leaning in when the trailer is empty. The most common cause for this uneven tire. Had same problem on my boat last year tires wore on the inside called around and took trailer into tire plus and they aligned my trailer.
It was off a good 12inch on one side and now she is fine. Asked the guys what would cause this and its hitting holes in the road or a big bump somewhere. It cost about 75 dollars to do it but worth the price if your going through tires that fastcall around and see if.

An axle has a bow in it that should be curved up. I have a tandem trailer with a Lund 1950 Tyee. Had tire wear on inside of tires so bought new tires.
After teo trips from Rochester to Rainy Lake they were showing significant wear again. Took the trailer into a semi-truck dealer as recommended by my local Lund dealer. Sure enough Axle was bent.
He fixed for me 120. If the trailer is over loaded it can over camber the axle which will over time begin to wear the inside of the tires. If the trailer is under loaded over an extended period of time it can begin to wear the tires on the outside.

U see stuff like that when the center of the axel strikes something on the ground like a tree stump or something. If they are both wearing even on the inside through multiple tires I would say there is an axel problem. My trailer tires are wearing real bad on the inside of the tire.
