The basic math is still the same. Almost all 3500 lb and up axles can handle 15 inch tires which is most likely what you have but there are still a few things to consider and check before making this change.

Biggest issue after changing trailer wheel size is the extra height of trailer means you have to go further down a ramp to launch. Some tyres are getting expensive to get with a high load rating not an issue in a tinny but is in mid size boats single axel loaded with holiday weight in the smaller 13 sizes but there is lower profile higher load in 14 cheaper. Take the tire diameter and wheel lug or axle ratings and give trailer tire and wheel a call.
They will fix you up with either nice aluminum or painted steel wheels of your choice. Then pick a tire with the same or as close as same diameter as what you have now. Probably somethinglike lt225 85r16 will be a good match.
